The Challenge
As part of my first full-time experience, at Promote Yourself Today Inc, I designed, prototyped and developed a coaching website for a client.
The Project
The project involved designing a website for a client, who wanted to showcase her skills in providing her clients advice and services for various real life jobs and situations
My Role
My role was to design, prototype and develop the website for the client. The various tools I used were, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for the creation of various graphical assets. Adobe XD was primarily used to create both the low and high fidelity wireframes as well as for prototyping.

Initial Low Fidelity Designs
I began brainstorming some initial design ideas, by looking for inspiration. I looked at different coaching websites. As well as websites like Dribbble and Behance. I ultimately settled on a design that was simple and clean.

High Fidelity/Final Designs
For the Home page I chose a linear layout as it was easier for users to quickly find the information they were looking for.
For the color scheme I went with white. This color strongly communicates an inviting tone and is very clean and simple.

I created pages to display the various kinds of services the client offers to her clients.

Testimonials
I created an area for clients to provide their feedback. Here they could leave reviews of the services they had received.

Lead Magnet
I created a lead magnet that attracts clients using a Facebook Ad that directs clients from Facebook to the website. Once on the website clients will be required to subscribe via email. Rewarding them with a free piece of content.

Login System
I created a login system so that clients can have access to content specific to their individual needs.

Self Reflection
During this full-time job, I learned how to work quickly and efficiently as I was primarily working alone. Furthermore, how to polish my designs through iteration. There were multiple iterations required for this project as the client wanted several design additions at multiple stages of the design process.
